A facelift project.
Our lovely client already had a wonderful base of items to work with, we filled in the missing gaps with some new furniture pieces, decor and styling.
COALITION PROPERTIES OFFICE, Elaleni Coastal Forest Estate
Heirloom Studio assisted the Coalition Property team in fitting out their office from the get go! It was a great blank canvas to work with and our client pretty much gave us carte blanche. (arn’t we so lucky!)
We helped them create a brand identity which influenced the look & feel of the space. The objective was to make the general mood of the office feel masculine, moody and textured.
Our favourite pieces are the custom made terra-cotta server, the hunted down second hand occasional chair and of course, the wallpaper!
JOCKEY STORE, Fourways Mall
Heirloom Studio were fortunate enough to be chosen as Jockey’s Interior Designers for their new store in Fourways Mall, JHB. Part of the brief was to create a concept for the store that can easily be rolled out into their other stores for their future revamps which will hopefully take place over the next few years.
We had so much fun with the Durban based team conceptualising the store, there were some crazy cool ideas! We settled for a design that would have a long lifespan and appeal to the general target market.
The concept was driven by one of their main marketing promises, comfort. The essence of the store was to make customers feel like they are in the comfort of their own home.
We assisted the team with creating a cohesive look and feel. Balancing functionality and aesthetics, critical in a commercial space. We designed new and more functional ways to display their product, which eliminated the cluttered over-merchandised shelving before.
THE VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT, Elaleni Coastal Forest Estate
This development is offering something very unique here on the North Coast, beautifully finished small free-standing homes in an elite estate. The Village consists of 7 x 3 bedroom free-standing homes.
Heirloom Studio was fortunate enough to get involved from the very beginning! We worked with the team to make some changes to the interior layouts to maximise the space and allow for better flow. We were involved in specifying all of the structural finishes within the given budget, custom designing all the kitchens and built-in-cupboards, project management and of course protecting the design and quality from beginning to end.

ROOM REVAMP | NURSERY, Nottingham Road
We assisted our client with her nursery through our virtual design service.
The brief was to turn a bedroom into a nursery. Keeping to a tropical and gender neutral look.
We assisted with specifying and sourcing the new pieces for the nursery, and our client implemented the changes and installation on site herself.
